If you grew up watching Jackie Chan Adventures, this GBA game is basically a love letter to the show. You get to run around as Jackie, throwing punches, kicking bad guys, and doing all those ridiculous acrobatic moves he’s known for—except now you’re the one pulling them off.
The first few minutes drop you right into the action: dodging traps, smacking around goons, and hunting down magical artifacts before the bad guys get them. The controls feel surprisingly smooth for a GBA fighter, and Jackie’s animations actually make it look like he’s bouncing off walls and flipping over enemies. There’s even some light puzzle-solving mixed in, like figuring out how to unlock ancient doors or outsmarting traps.
What really sells it, though, is how much it nails the show’s vibe. Uncle’s there yelling about "magic must defeat magic," Jade pops in to help (or get into trouble), and the villains are just as over-the-top as you remember. It’s not the deepest game, but if you’re looking for a quick, fun brawler with that classic Jackie Chan energy, this one’s got it. Just don’t expect the combos to be as smooth as, say, a proper Street Fighter game.
