This GBA game is basically a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you play as Jackie Chan—or sometimes his niece Jade—punching and kicking your way through waves of enemies. The animation’s a little stiff, but it’s got that classic Jackie charm with his goofy voice clips and exaggerated moves. You’ll pick up random objects like brooms or barrels to whack bad guys with, which never gets old.

There’s some light platforming between fights, and the levels are short enough that it doesn’t overstay its welcome. The Dark Hand villains show up now and then to make things interesting, though the combat’s pretty simple—button mashing works fine most of the time. If you’re into old-school arcade-style brawlers, this one’s a decent way to kill an afternoon.
