JGTO Kounin Golf Master is one of those GBA golf games that actually feels like golf—not just a bunch of random swings. You start off picking your golfer (none of them are famous, but they’ve got stats that matter), and then you’re thrown onto these surprisingly detailed Japanese courses. The greens have real slope to them, and the wind actually messes with your ball like it would in real life.
First few holes, I kept overshooting because I didn’t realize how much elevation changes mattered. The caddy tips help, but you still gotta read the terrain yourself. And the putting? Brutal at first. Took me a couple rounds to stop three-putting everything.
It’s not flashy, but if you want a no-nonsense golf sim that makes you think about club choice and shot angles, this one’s solid. Just don’t expect Tiger Woods-level presentation.
