I picked up Island Xtreme Stunts for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002, a game developed by Silicon Dreams Studio. It was part of that wave of handheld titles trying to capture some of the freedom of console games, though it had to work within the GBA's limits. This one was the third game in the Lego Island series, even though the 'Lego' name was oddly missing from the title.

You control Pepper Roni, the pizza delivery guy, and your main job is to complete a series of stunt missions to help a film crew. You drive various vehicles around an open island, jumping ramps, performing flips, and collecting coins. The game is structured around a central hub; you accept missions, then drive to specific locations to perform timed challenges like long jumps or precision landings. The controls are straightforward, but some of the later missions require precise timing and can be surprisingly difficult. It feels like a condensed, on-the-go stunt playground.
