International Superstar Soccer (e)(eurasia) Game

International Superstar Soccer on the GBA is one of those old-school soccer games that somehow nails the feel of the sport despite the tiny screen. You’ve got quick matches, tournaments, and even a penalty shootout mode—perfect for when you just want to jump in without fuss. The controls are simple (pass, shoot, sprint), but there’s a surprising amount of strategy in how you move the ball upfield.
Graphically, it’s about what you’d expect from a GBA sports title—chunky little sprites, but the animations are smooth enough to keep things readable. The commentary text is hilariously basic ("Great shot!"), but it adds charm. If you’re into retro sports games, this one holds up better than most. Just don’t expect FIFA-level realism.
