Alright, so Inspector Gadget: Advance Mission on the GBA is exactly what it sounds like—you play as the clueless but somehow always-winning Inspector Gadget, stumbling through missions while Dr. Claw’s goons try (and fail) to stop you. The nostalgia hits hard if you grew up with the cartoon, but even if you didn’t, it’s still a solid little action-platformer.
You’ve got all the classic gadgets—spring legs for jumping, the helicopter hat (which is as ridiculous as it sounds), and that extendable arm that somehow never works right when you need it. The levels are straightforward but fun, with just enough hidden stuff to make poking around worth it. And yeah, Penny and Brain show up to help out when Gadget inevitably gets stuck.
It’s not the deepest game out there, but it’s got charm, and the controls are simple enough that you can just pick it up and play. If you’re into retro platformers or just miss the old cartoon, this one’s a decent way to kill an afternoon.
