You play as Inspector Gadget in this GBA side-scroller, and yeah, he’s just as clumsy and ridiculous as you remember from the cartoon. The levels are packed with traps, enemies, and those little moments where Gadget’s gadgets hilariously backfire—like when his extendable legs send him flying into a pit instead of over it.
It’s got that classic platformer feel—jumping over gaps, dodging Dr. Claw’s goons, and collecting coins (because even cyborg detectives need spare change, apparently). The controls take a second to get used to, especially when you’re accidentally triggering random gadgets mid-jump, but it’s part of the charm. Brain’s nowhere to be seen, though—guess Penny’s handling tech support off-screen.
If you grew up with the show, the nostalgia alone makes it worth a play. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking—it’s pure, silly fun with a side of janky GBA physics.
