This Sega Master System version of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is a weird little relic—literally. It’s not the point-and-click adventure you might expect, but a side-scrolling action game where you punch Nazis, swing over pits, and occasionally solve simple puzzles. The sprites are tiny, and Indy moves like he’s wading through molasses, but there’s something charming about its janky platforming and chiptune rendition of the theme song.

You’ll start in a jungle (of course), dodging snakes and climbing vines before getting thrown into a castle full of guards. The whip feels underpowered at first—half the time you’re better off just punching guys—but once you get the hang of it, there’s a weird satisfaction to clearing rooms. Just don’t expect it to hold up to modern standards. It’s pure late-80s Sega, for better or worse.

If you’re nostalgic for the Master System or just curious about oddball licensed games, this one’s a fun time capsule.
