Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine on Game Boy Color is a surprisingly solid port of the PC/N64 adventure—though obviously scaled down. You’re still cracking whips, solving block puzzles, and dodging traps while racing the Soviets to uncover pieces of some ancient Babylonian superweapon. The controls take a minute to get used to (jumping feels a little stiff), but once you adjust, it’s got that classic Indy vibe—just with chunky pixel art instead of polygons.
Expect a lot of climbing, lever-pulling, and the occasional fistfight with Russian goons. Some of the platforming bits can be frustrating with the tiny screen, but the puzzles are clever for a GBC game. If you’re into retro action-adventure, it’s a fun way to kill a few hours between digging up artifacts and narrowly avoiding boulders.
