About Impossible Mission
Impossible Mission arrived on the Sega Master System, a conversion of the original computer hit by Epyx. It was one of those games that felt different from the usual platformers and shooters on the system, a puzzle adventure that demanded more than quick reflexes.
You control an agent tasked with stopping the villainous Elvin Atombender. Your goal is to search through his complex, room by room, to find and assemble the passcode phrases needed to access his control room. The core loop involves searching furniture for clues, avoiding or disabling patrolling robots, and solving tile based puzzles to earn extra time. The robots are relentless, and the clock is always ticking down, creating a constant pressure. Navigating the elevators and platforms while managing your limited time makes every decision feel critical. It feels like a tense race against a system designed to wear you down.
