So in Hugo - The Evil Mirror, you're basically playing as three little troll siblings trying to rescue their dad from a witch’s curse. Scylla (who’s, like, the worst) trapped Hugo in a magic mirror and then smashed it into three pieces—because of course she did. Now his kids have to trek through the Tricky Troll Forest to find all the fragments.
Each troll kid controls a little differently—some jump higher, others are better at pushing stuff—so you’re constantly switching between them to solve puzzles. The forest is full of weird obstacles, like floating platforms and sneaky traps, and the whole thing has that classic GBA platformer vibe. It’s not super hard, but some sections will make you stop and think for a second.
Honestly, the troll designs are kinda charming in a goofy way, and the music sticks in your head longer than it should. If you’re into old-school side-scrollers with a bit of puzzle-solving, this one’s a solid pick.
