Home Alone (europe) On Sms Game

So, Home Alone on the Sega Master System—yeah, it’s exactly what it sounds like. You play as Kevin McCallister running through his house (and a few other locations) in this side-scroller that loosely follows the movie. It’s got that classic early '90s platformer feel—jumping over gaps, dodging traps, and tossing marbles at the Wet Bandits when they show up.
The controls are a little stiff, and some of the hitboxes feel unfair, but there’s something weirdly charming about it. Like, why is there a level where you’re suddenly in a toy store? No idea, but it’s there. The music’s catchy in that 8-bit way, though, and the sprite work actually does a decent job of making Kevin look like his movie counterpart.
It’s not the deepest game, but if you’re nostalgic for the movie or just love weird licensed platformers, it’s a fun little time capsule.
