The main goal is to navigate through side scrolling levels, fighting off enemies with your microphone (it acts like a short range weapon) and collecting musical notes. You explore each stage screen by screen, hunting for keys to unlock doors and finding Kaz's stolen guitars. The pacing is generally brisk, though some sections require careful timing to avoid enemies and environmental hazards. It feels like a straightforward action platformer that captures the energy of the show.
