Hey Arnold! : The Movie Game

If you grew up watching Hey Arnold!, this GBA game is pure nostalgia. You start off running around Hillwood—yeah, the same streets from the show—talking to familiar faces like Gerald and Helga (who’s still pretending she doesn’t have a crush on Arnold). The art style nails the cartoon’s look, right down to Arnold’s football-shaped head bouncing as he walks.
Gameplay’s a mix of platforming and light puzzles—nothing too hard, but it keeps you moving. One minute you’re dodging sewer rats, the next you’re helping Mr. Nguyen find his stolen spices. There’s even a mission where you sneak past construction workers, which feels straight out of an episode. The dialogue’s got that same dry humor too, though some lines are recycled a bit much.
It’s not perfect—the controls can be a little stiff, and the camera sometimes fights you—but if you’re a fan, it’s worth playing just to hang out in that world again. Just don’t expect a deep challenge.
