Remember that old-school Hercules game for the Game Boy Color? Yeah, the one based on the cheesy-but-fun '90s TV show. You start off smashing pots (classic) and whipping Hydras with your sword, and it's got that satisfyingly chunky GBC platforming feel—not too hard, not too easy. The sprites are surprisingly decent for the hardware, and the music’s got that nostalgic bleep-bloop charm.
It’s got multiple language options, which is cool if you want to flex your middle-school French or German while slashing skeletons. Honestly, it’s a solid little time capsule if you’re into retro licensed games—just don’t expect a masterpiece. The Hydra boss fight still gives me mild thumb cramps.
