Okay, so this is the GBA version of Order of the Phoenix, and honestly? It’s a weird little adaptation. You’ve got Harry back at Hogwarts, dealing with Umbridge’s nonsense while secretly training Dumbledore’s Army—which sounds cooler than it plays, since the combat’s pretty basic spell-flinging. But hey, you can roam around Hogwarts, which is fun if you’re into that.
Switching between characters like Harry, Dumbledore, and Sirius is neat, though it mostly just changes whose sprite you’re controlling. The story’s rushed (as expected for a GBA game), but there’s something charming about the pixelated versions of familiar locations. Just don’t expect the depth of the console versions—this one’s more for diehard Potter fans who want to revisit the world in portable form.
Also, good luck with the pre-rendered cutscenes. They’re… a choice.
