Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on GBA is a solid little adaptation of the second book—you’re running around Hogwarts, casting spells, and dodging rumors about being the heir of Slytherin. The top-down Mode7-style graphics give it this weirdly charming retro vibe, like a wizarding world SNES game.
You start off in Diagon Alley buying books (because even wizards can’t escape back-to-school shopping), then jump straight into sneaking around the castle while everyone whispers about petrified students. The spell mechanics are simple but satisfying—swipe the D-pad for Wingardium Leviosa, mash buttons to duel Malfoy—though some of the platforming bits can be janky. Also, the prefects are weirdly aggressive about catching you out of bed.
It’s not the deepest RPG, but the atmosphere nails that mix of cozy and creepy from the books. Just watch out for the spiders. Seriously.
