About Harry Potter - Quidditch World Cup (u)(rising Sun)
Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, published by Electronic Arts. It was one of many licensed games from that era, a time when you could find almost any movie or book turned into a portable adventure. This one focused entirely on the sport from the books, letting you skip the story and just play the game.
You control one of the four player positions on your Quidditch team: Chaser, Beater, Keeper, or Seeker. Your main goal is to win matches by outscoring the opposing team, which involves a lot of fast flying and quick button presses. As a Chaser, you pass the Quaffle and shoot on goal; as a Beater, you knock Bludgers away from your teammates; and as the Seeker, you end the match by catching the Golden Snitch. The gameplay is split between these positional duties, and the difficulty ramps up as you face stronger international teams in the World Cup mode. It feels frantic and satisfying when you finally pull off a perfect play.
