Hang-on (japan) Game

Hang-On was that game that came bundled with the Sega Master System back in the day—basically Sega’s way of saying, "Here, try this and get hooked." It’s a simple but surprisingly intense motorcycle racer where you lean left and right to dodge traffic on a winding, endless highway. No fancy power-ups or gear shifts, just pure speed and reflexes.
The controls feel stiff at first (you’re basically tilting the bike like a tank), but once you get the rhythm down, it’s weirdly satisfying. The road scrolls way faster than it should for 8-bit hardware, and the music is just this relentless synth loop that drills into your brain. You’ll crash. A lot. But somehow, you keep hitting start again.
It’s the kind of arcade game that makes you appreciate how punishingly simple games used to be.
