Okay, so Hamster Paradise: Pure Heart is basically the GBA game you play when you want something stupidly cute but weirdly addictive. You start with a couple of hamsters in a tiny cage, and before long you're obsessing over which little hut or wheel to buy next while they run around being adorable idiots.

The pixel art is surprisingly charming—like, the way the hamsters wiggle when they eat or flop over to sleep got me every time. There's this weird satisfaction in unlocking new areas and seeing what silly accessories pop up (flower crowns? A mini castle? Yes please).

It's not deep, but there's something weirdly zen about arranging their habitats just right while they do hamster things in the background. I may have spent way too long trying to get two specific hamsters to become friends. They never did.

If you ever wanted to run a tiny rodent resort with zero consequences, this is your game.
