Hamster Club (japan) Game

Hamster Club is one of those weird little Game Boy Color gems that never left Japan—you basically run a hamster daycare, which sounds simple until you realize how much chaos tiny rodents can cause. The pixel art is adorable, with these chubby hamsters running on wheels, stuffing their cheeks with food, and occasionally escaping their cages if you're not careful.
At first, I thought it was just a basic pet sim, but there's actually a surprising amount to manage—feeding schedules, cleaning up after them, even arranging playdates so they don't get lonely. The controls are simple (it's a GBC game, after all), but the hamsters have way more personality than you'd expect. One of mine kept stealing food from the others, and I swear another one gave me side-eye when I forgot to refill its water.
If you're into quirky retro games or just miss that early 2000s Japan-only charm, this one's a fun little time capsule.
