Gunstar Super Heroes is basically Gunstar Heroes turned up to 11—same chaotic run-and-gun madness, just with way more explosions. You’ll recognize the feel immediately: sliding into cover, swapping weapons on the fly, and barely surviving those ridiculous screen-filling boss fights. The first level throws you right into it—one minute you’re blasting through waves of goons, the next you’re dodging a giant mech’s laser barrage while the background crumbles. Classic Treasure.
They tweaked the weapon system a bit, so you’re not just sticking with the homing shot the whole time (though let’s be honest, it’s still OP). The GBA somehow handles the chaos without chugging, which is kind of a miracle. If you loved the original, this one’s a no-brainer.
