Gunstar Super Heroes is basically Gunstar Heroes 2 in all the best ways—same crazy run-and-gun chaos, same ridiculous boss fights where you're dodging lasers one second and riding missiles the next. The first level throws you right into it: you're sliding under barriers, grabbing random weapons (the homing shots saved my life), and within minutes you're fighting some screen-filling robot that shoots fireballs from its elbows. Classic Treasure madness.
They tweaked the mechanics just enough—your character feels a bit weightier, and there's this new charge attack that's weirdly satisfying to time right. Still has that "how is this even possible on a GBA?" vibe though, especially when everything starts exploding at once. If you liked the original, this one's a no-brainer.
