If you're into old-school anime fighters, Rave Master: Special Attack Force on the GBA is a weird little gem. It's got that classic 2D sprite-based combat with characters straight out of the manga—Haru, Elie, the whole crew. The moves feel a bit stiff at first, but once you get the timing down, pulling off special attacks like Haru's sword slashes actually feels pretty satisfying.

What surprised me was how faithful it is to the source material. The sprites look like they jumped right off the page, and some of the supers even recreate iconic moments from the series. It's not as deep as something like Street Fighter Alpha 3, but for a portable fighter from that era, it holds up better than you'd expect. Just don't go in expecting tournament-level balance—this is pure anime chaos.

Definitely one for fans of the series or anyone who misses that early 2000s fighting game vibe.
