About Grinch, The
I played The Grinch on my Game Boy Color back in 2000. It was one of those many licensed games from Konami that came out around the holidays, trying to capture the movie's energy on the small screen. It fit right in with the platform's library, a simple adventure you could pick up for a quick session.
You control the Grinch himself, sneaking through Whoville to steal Christmas. The main goal is to snatch all the presents, decorations, and food before time runs out. You move screen by screen, avoiding the watchful Whos and their pets. Your main tools are a slingshot to temporarily stun anyone who spots you and a vacuum to suck up anything not nailed down. The game can get tricky as more Whos wake up, making the streets harder to navigate quietly. It feels like a tense, mischievous race against the clock.
