Greg Hastings' Tournament Paintball Max’d is the follow-up to the original GBA paintball game, and honestly, it’s way more fun than you’d expect from a handheld shooter. You start off picking your gear—guns, masks, the works—and then jump straight into chaotic matches where paint flies everywhere. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you do, you’ll be sliding behind bunkers and popping off shots like a pro.
What’s cool is how fast-paced it feels for a GBA game. Matches are quick, and the AI actually puts up a decent fight. I kept getting wrecked at first because I underestimated how aggressive the bots can be. The fields are small but surprisingly detailed, with just enough cover to make flanking worth it. If you’ve ever wanted a no-nonsense paintball sim on the go, this one’s a solid pick.
