Great Baseball (usa, Europe) Game

Great Baseball was one of those weird little Sega Master System gems that never made it out of Japan—which is a shame, because it’s actually a solid arcade-style baseball game for its time. The pitching feels a little stiff at first, but once you get the timing down, you can rack up some satisfying strikeouts. Fielding’s basic but responsive, and the batting has just enough randomness to keep things tense without feeling unfair.
It’s not as flashy as later baseball games, but there’s something charming about the chunky pixel players and the way the crowd noise cuts in and out. If you’re into retro sports games, this one’s worth a few innings.
