Play Godzilla : The Series : Monster Wars Online

Godzilla: The Series: Monster Wars came out for the Game Boy Color in 2000, developed by Crawfish Interactive and published by Crave Entertainment. It was part of that wave of licensed games trying to capture a show's action on the small, green-tinted screen. You don't play as Godzilla himself, but instead take command of the heroic monster, Zilla Jr., from the animated series.

The game plays as a side-scrolling action title where you move through city and military base environments. Your main goal is to defeat other monsters and stop the alien invaders, the Tachyon aliens, across several levels. You primarily use Zilla Jr.'s atomic breath, a short-range projectile, and a tail whip attack to fight enemies and break through certain obstacles. The levels are linear, pushing you from left to right, with occasional vertical platforming sections. The pacing is fairly quick, though some enemy patterns require you to stop and time your attacks carefully. It feels like a straightforward brawler where you are a powerful creature causing a lot of destruction.
