Okay, so imagine if someone took David Beckham, gave him a cartoony makeover, and dropped him into a game that plays like a weird mashup of Mario and a soccer training montage. That’s basically Go! Go! Beckham! Adventure On Soccer Island.
You’re running, jumping, and kicking soccer balls at enemies (because of course you are). The controls are simple, but some of the platforming gets surprisingly tricky—like when you’re bouncing off giant soccer balls mid-air or dodging goalpost-shaped hazards. It’s got that early 2000s licensed game energy, but honestly? It’s way more fun than it has any right to be.
Also, Beckham’s little victory pose after clearing a level never gets old. Just don’t expect a masterpiece—this is pure, silly nostalgia fuel.
