Gift (Europe) is one of those weird little Game Boy Color titles that slipped under the radar back in the day. It's got this odd mix of puzzle and adventure elements—you're basically navigating surreal dreamlike levels while collecting... well, gifts, I guess? The whole thing has a slightly off-kilter vibe, like someone took a children's storybook and ran it through a late-'90s European game dev filter.

Controls are simple enough—directional pad moves you around, A button interacts—but some of the puzzles make you stop and scratch your head. One minute you're pushing blocks, next you're talking to a giant floating head that asks existential questions. The color palette's surprisingly moody for a GBC game, all deep purples and eerie greens.

Definitely not your typical handheld experience, but that's what makes it interesting. You can play it now through emulation if you're curious about obscure retro oddities.
