About Ghost House (japan)
Ghost House came out for the Sega Master System, developed and published by Sega. It was part of that early wave of SMS games, a side-scrolling platformer that felt right at home on the console.
You control a character who moves and jumps much like Alex Kidd. Your goal is to explore a haunted mansion, room by room, to find a hidden vampire coffin and destroy it before Dracula appears. Your main tool is a large fist you use to punch the various ghosts and monsters that float toward you. The game progresses screen by screen; you clear a room of enemies, and then you can move to the next. The pacing is deliberate, and the limited lives make mistakes costly. It feels like a tense, methodical hunt through a spooky, unpredictable house.
