About Ghost House
Ghost House came out for the Sega Master System, published by Sega itself. It was one of those early platformers that felt a bit different from the usual run and jump games, leaning more into exploration and puzzle solving within a single, spooky location.
You control a character named Mick, who is trying to escape a haunted mansion. Your main goal is to find a hidden vampire and destroy him with a stake. You move from room to room, searching for keys to unlock doors and collecting pieces of a cross. The mansion is filled with enemies like bats and ghosts, and you can stun them by throwing garlic. The game is methodical; you have to check every corner and remember the layout, as it's easy to get lost. It feels tense and deliberate, like you are really picking your way through a dark, dangerous place.
