Ghost House Game

Ghost House on the Sega Master System is one of those weird little gems that feels like a B-movie turned into a game. You play as this dude in a tuxedo (because why not?) sneaking through a haunted mansion full of floating skulls, trapdoors, and these weird bat things that dive at you. The first time I played, I got wrecked by a painting that just... decided to come to life. Classic.
It’s part puzzle game, part action—you’re collecting keys and vampire hearts (yep) while dodging ghosts that move in these totally unpredictable patterns. The music’s got that creepy carnival vibe, and the sound effects? All squeaky doors and sudden jumpscare noises. Not gonna lie, it’s janky in that old-school way where sometimes you die and have no idea why, but that’s half the charm. If you’re into weird retro horror with a side of “what even IS this,” it’s a trip.
