If you're into the GetBackers anime or manga, this GBA game is a solid little side story—especially if you dig beat 'em ups with a bit of strategy. You play as Ban and Ginji, running through the Infinity Fortress, punching thugs, and using their signature moves (Ban’s Evil Eye actually works like it should, which is satisfying).
The sprites are chunky but full of personality, and the levels throw in some light puzzle-solving between fights. Some enemies are total sponges, though—expect to spam specials a lot. The story’s just okay (typical "rescue someone from the underworld" stuff), but the banter between the duo makes it feel like an extra episode.
Not gonna lie, it’s janky in places, but there’s charm in how it captures the series’ over-the-top energy. Worth a play if you’re a fan or just want a retro brawler with a twist.
