About Gem Smashers
Gem Smashers came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, published by Metro3D. It was part of that wave of GBA games that tried to capture the feel of earlier console adventures, fitting right in with the portable library of the time.
You control a character who explores a world screen by screen, clearing enemies and breaking blocks to collect gems. Your main goal is to smash every gem on each stage to unlock the exit. The mechanics are straightforward: you can attack foes directly and use a dash move to break certain blocks or hit enemies from a distance. The game moves at a quick pace, and the challenge comes from navigating the layouts and dealing with enemies efficiently. It feels like a focused, no frills action puzzle experience.
