Gauntlet Game

Gauntlet on the Sega Master System is one of those games that just feels like an arcade—even if you're playing it at home. You pick from four characters (I always went Valkyrie because she could take a hit), and then it's just you, your pals, and a never-ending swarm of ghosts, grunts, and those stupid floating death mouths that shoot at you.
The dungeons are simple—mazes full of food to grab (because yes, your health ticks down constantly) and switches to hit. But the real fun is in the chaos. Someone always ends up eating all the food, someone else gets lost, and eventually you're all yelling at each other while frantically mashing the attack button. The Wizard feels underpowered at first, but once you figure out his spells, he's a monster.
It's old-school, it's janky, and it's still weirdly satisfying to hear that deep voice announce "Warrior needs food badly" for the hundredth time. Just make sure you've got extra batteries—this one drains them fast.
