Okay, so Garfield and His Nine Lives on the GBA is exactly what it sounds like—a weird little platformer where you play as the world’s laziest cat. You’d think he’d just nap through the whole thing, but nope, he’s jumping over spikes, dodging dogs, and scarfing down lasagna like it’s going out of style.
The controls are… well, they’re Game Boy Advance controls. A little stiff, but you get used to it. The real charm is the art style—Garfield’s animations are surprisingly expressive, especially when he faceplants after missing a jump. And yeah, there are nine levels (because, y’know, nine lives), each with its own gimmick, like haunted houses or junkyards full of angry raccoons.
It’s not gonna blow your mind, but if you’re into retro platformers or just really love that orange furball, it’s a decent way to kill an afternoon. Just don’t expect it to be as deep as his hatred for Mondays.
