Front Row (japan) Game

Front Row is one of those obscure Japan-only Game Boy Color racers that slipped under the radar. It's got that classic late-90s pixelated charm—think top-down perspective with these tiny, colorful cars zipping around tight tracks. The handling's a bit slippery at first, but once you get used to drifting around corners, it clicks.
What's cool is how they crammed in different race modes—time trials, championships, even a weird elimination mode where the last-place car blows up every lap. The music's pure early GBC synth, all bleeps and bloops that somehow work when you're neck-and-neck on the final turn. Not gonna lie, the Japanese menus are confusing at first, but after a couple races, you memorize where everything is.
If you're into digging up forgotten racing gems, this one's a neat little time capsule.
