Remember Frogger? That little green dude dodging traffic and hopping on logs? Well, he's back on the GBA with a full-blown adventure this time. Instead of just crossing roads, you're guiding him through temples, caves, and jungles to track down some ancient relic—which honestly feels way more epic than it should for a game about a frog.
The first few levels ease you in with classic Frogger moves—timing jumps over speeding cars, avoiding snakes in the grass—but then it throws curveballs like collapsing bridges and moving platforms. The pixel art’s cleaner than the arcade original, and some levels actually look pretty nice for a GBA game. I got stuck on this one waterfall stage for way too long because the currents kept sweeping me off logs.
It’s still Frogger at heart, just with more to do. If you ever played the old one and thought, "What if this had actual levels and a story?" here’s your answer. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you.
