Remember Frogger? Yeah, the classic arcade frog dodging traffic? This GBA sequel takes that simple idea and runs with it—you're still hopping across roads and rivers, but now there's an actual adventure mode with temples, power-ups, and even boss fights. Weirdly, it works.
First thing you'll notice is how smooth the movement feels—Frogger's got this satisfying little leap that makes threading between trucks way less frustrating than it should be. The forgotten relic story is just an excuse to send you through jungles and ruins, but the level designs are surprisingly clever. One minute you're timing jumps on floating logs, the next you're dodging rolling boulders Indiana Jones-style.
It's still Frogger at heart, just with way more going on. And yeah, you can totally play it on an emulator if you don't have the cartridge collecting dust somewhere.
