Frogger’s Adventures 2 is one of those weirdly charming GBA sequels that somehow makes hopping across traffic even more chaotic. This time, Frogger’s got a magic wand to recover, so instead of just dodging cars, you’re dealing with haunted castles, lava pits, and—of course—the occasional truck that just doesn’t care about amphibian safety.
The levels are way more varied than the original, with some fun gimmicks like ice slides and minecart rides. Controls are simple, but the later stages get surprisingly tough—I definitely lost a few lives figuring out the timing on those spinning fire wheels. If you liked the first one or just want a solid arcade-style platformer, this one’s a solid pick.
Also, the music’s weirdly catchy for a game about a frog with a wand.
