Frogger Advance: The Great Quest is one of those weird early 2000s attempts to turn classic arcade games into full 3D adventures. You still hop across roads and rivers, but now there's this bizarre story about Frogger becoming human and going on a quest. The controls feel a little slippery compared to the original, and the camera angles can be frustrating when you're trying to line up jumps. That said, the mini-games that recreate the classic Frogger gameplay are honestly the best part—everything else feels like they stretched a simple concept way too far. If you're nostalgic for GBA oddities, it's an interesting time capsule, but don't expect it to hold up like the arcade version.
