About Flushed Away (e)(rising Sun)
Flushed Away for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2006, published by D3Publisher. It was part of that wave of movie tie-in games that were common on the handheld, a straightforward action platformer based on the animated film. You don't see many people talking about it now, but it was just another title you might have picked up back then.
You control Roddy, a pampered pet mouse who gets flushed into the London sewers. Your main goal is to find your way back home while dealing with a gang of villainous frogs. The gameplay involves moving screen by screen through the sewer levels, jumping across pipes and platforms. You fight enemies by whacking them with a plunger, and you also spend a lot of time collecting shiny objects, which serve as the game's currency. The pacing is fairly quick, though some of the platforming can be tricky to land. It feels like a simple, uncomplicated game from that era, one you can pick up and play without much fuss.
