Flashback Legends Game

Flashback Legends on the GBA is one of those games that nails that old-school vibe without feeling like a cheap throwback. You start off in this neon-drenched cityscape, jumping between platforms while dodging these weird robotic sentries—kinda like if Blade Runner had a baby with a Metroidvania. The controls take a second to click, but once they do, the way your character flips and rolls between ledges feels surprisingly smooth for a GBA title.
What got me was the puzzles. Some are straightforward "find the key" stuff, but others make you stop and actually think, like rewiring security systems or manipulating time loops (yeah, it gets trippy). I remember getting stuck in this one lab for way too long before realizing I had to use a reflection to solve it. No hand-holding here.
And the soundtrack? Absolute banger. That synthwave score creeps into your head and just lives there. If you’ve got a soft spot for GBA hidden gems, this one’s worth dusting off the cartridge for.
