Fire Emblem : Corrupt Theocracy Game

Fire Emblem: Corrupt Theocracy is one of those GBA games that just sticks with you. Right from the start, you're thrown into this messy political war where every choice feels heavy—do you play by the rules of a broken system, or burn it all down? The maps are tight, the permadeath is brutal (as always), and some of the character arcs hit way harder than you'd expect from pixel art.
What I love is how the game makes you care about your ragtag squad. There’s this one knight who starts off blindly loyal to the church, but if you pair him with a certain mercenary, his dialogue slowly shifts to questioning everything. Little details like that make the battles more than just moving units on a grid.
Fair warning though: the difficulty spikes around Chapter 14 will wreck you if you’re not careful with your upgrades. I learned that the hard way. Still one of the most underrated Fire Emblem titles, especially if you like your strategy with a side of moral gray areas.
