Famicom Mini 12 : Clu Clu Land Game

Okay, so Clu Clu Land is one of those weird, early Nintendo puzzlers that somehow sticks with you. You play as this little sea urchin thing named Bubbles, swinging around underwater mazes by grabbing pegs—kinda like a weird mix of Q*bert and a pinball machine. The goal? Uncover all the hidden gold by bouncing off walls while these angry fish try to mess you up.
At first, the controls feel a little floaty, but once you get the rhythm of swinging and stopping mid-air, it’s weirdly satisfying. The later levels get brutal with maze layouts that force you to plan moves ahead. And yeah, the music is that classic NES earworm—simple but impossible to shake.
Honestly, it’s not for everyone, but if you dig retro games with a side of janky charm, this one’s a neat time capsule. Just don’t blame me when you start humming the theme for days.
