About Fifa 2005 (u)(venom)
FIFA 2005 for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2004, developed by EA Canada. It was one of the many sports titles you could carry in your pocket during that era, sitting alongside other portable games that tried to capture the feel of their bigger console cousins.
You control a full soccer team, switching between players to pass, tackle, and shoot. The main goal is to outscore your opponent in a match. Signature mechanics include using a through-pass button to send a teammate sprinting behind the defense and a first-touch system where your player's control stat determines how well they receive the ball. The pacing is quite fast, and matches can feel frantic as you rush to create openings. It feels satisfying to string together a few quick passes and finally slot the ball into the net.
