FIFA 2004 on the GBA is one of those games that somehow makes a full soccer experience work on a tiny screen. The "Off the Ball" control thing sounds fancy, but really, it just lets you manually trigger runs or hold up play—kinda neat once you get the hang of it. Graphics are about as good as the GBA can handle, with little chunky players that somehow still feel responsive. Commentary’s barebones, but the gameplay’s snappy, and the career mode’s weirdly addictive for a handheld title. Not bad for bus rides or pretending to pay attention in class back in the day.
