Evergirl (u)(trashman) Game

Evergirl on the GBA is one of those weird little hidden gems—or maybe hidden oddities is more accurate. It’s got this bizarre mix of RPG mechanics and... well, I’m still not entirely sure what the plot’s about, but you’re definitely collecting girls (or something resembling girls) and battling with them. The sprites are tiny but weirdly charming, and the music’s got that classic GBA chiptune vibe.
First few minutes? You’re thrown into a menu-heavy system where you pick your starter "girl" (choices are... questionable), then immediately into turn-based fights that feel like a stripped-down Pokémon. The translation’s rough, so half the dialogue reads like someone fed a script through Google Translate twice. But there’s something oddly compelling about its jankiness—like, why does the battle background look like a Windows 98 screensaver?
If you’re into obscure GBA RPGs with more quirks than polish, this might scratch that itch. Just don’t expect it to make much sense.
