Evel Knievel on Game Boy Color is exactly what you’d expect—a pixelated, slightly janky love letter to the king of reckless motorcycle jumps. You start off with a tiny bike, a basic ramp, and way too much confidence. The physics are… let’s say "creative," but in that classic Game Boy way where you just accept it and pray you land the next stunt.
First few tries? You’ll eat dirt. A lot. But once you get the hang of timing the speed boosts and angling your landings, pulling off a clean jump over a row of buses feels weirdly satisfying. The crowd cheers (in tiny beeps), and suddenly you’re eyeing that impossible canyon gap like, "Yeah, I could totally make that." (Spoiler: You won’t. Not yet.)
It’s got that old-school charm where the difficulty spikes hard, but you keep coming back because nailing a perfect run is pure serotonin. Just don’t throw your Game Boy when you wipe out on the same jump for the tenth time.
