About Enchanted : Once Upon Andalasia
Enchanted: Once Upon Andalasia came out for the Game Boy Advance, a time when handhelds were full of sprite based adventures. I don't recall who made it, but it fit right in with other fantasy quests on the system. You play as a young hero, maybe a prince or a knight, tasked with saving a princess and the kingdom of Andalasia from a dark curse.
You guide your character through a world shown screen by screen, fighting monsters with a simple sword swing. The main goal is to explore dungeons, solve basic puzzles, and collect pieces of a magical artifact to break the curse. The pacing is steady, and the difficulty feels fair for the most part, though some later areas can be tricky. Moving through the colorful, tiled landscapes and hearing the chiptune music creates a pleasant, straightforward experience.
